Day 1Dar es Salaam to the Rufiji region
Leave from the agreed Dar es Salaam pickup point in the morning. Road conditions and traffic affect the drive. Settle into the confirmed camp, then join the planned Rufiji boat activity if river levels and authorised operating conditions allow.
Day 2A full day in Nyerere
Explore permitted park tracks with your driver-guide and take a picnic break at a designated site. Return to camp after the game drive; sightings depend on the day’s wildlife movements.
Day 3Breakfast and the return journey
After breakfast, drive back to the agreed Dar es Salaam point. Do not plan a tight international departure the same afternoon; discuss a buffer or extra overnight.

Practical details
The USD 1,160 estimate is based on four adults on a private road trip. Road access and boat schedules can change during heavy rain. Walking safaris require a separate permitted arrangement and are not included. Camps and boat providers are named before payment; wildlife is never guaranteed.
