Day 1Tarangire’s river country
Game drive in Tarangire, then continue to a modest Karatu lodge for dinner and the night.
Day 2Into the Serengeti
Drive through the highlands to the central Serengeti. Explore en route and settle into a lodge or tented camp.
Day 3Stay with the wildlife
Spend a full day exploring the central Serengeti with your guide and enjoy a second night in the same area.
Day 4Morning on the plains, evening in Karatu
Take a final Serengeti game drive and travel back through the highlands to Karatu.
Day 5The crater, then Arusha
Descend into Ngorongoro for a permitted game drive. After a picnic lunch, return to Arusha.
