Your itinerary
Day 1Tarangire and the highlands
Begin from the confirmed Arusha hotel in the morning. Spend time on a Tarangire game drive, then continue to the agreed Karatu lodge. Arrive in Arusha the previous day; that hotel night is quoted separately.
Day 2Across the highlands to the Serengeti
Travel through the permitted Ngorongoro transit route to the Serengeti, with a packed lunch and an afternoon game drive if arrival time allows. This is a substantial transfer day. Stay in the confirmed Serengeti tented camp.
Day 3A full Serengeti day
Explore the central Serengeti with your driver-guide, returning for the second camp night. Seasonal migration areas are considered only if the agreed route, permits and driving time support them.
Day 4A morning flight from the Serengeti to Zanzibar
Transfer to the named Serengeti airstrip after breakfast and take the confirmed scheduled flight to Zanzibar, which may have intermediate stops. Meet your island driver and continue to the named coast accommodation. Two island nights follow.
Day 5Time on the Zanzibar coast
Enjoy the confirmed coast guesthouse or hotel at your own pace. A Stone Town, forest or reef excursion can be quoted as an extra. This flexible day allows time to rest after the safari.
Day 6Departure or a longer island stay
Transfer to Zanzibar airport at the agreed time, or extend your coast stay with a separate quote. International flights are not included.

- International flights, visas and travel insurance
- Unlisted meals, drinks, personal purchases and tips
- Hotels and transfers before or after the listed itinerary
- Zanzibar excursions, lunches and dinners unless specifically added
- Additional safari nights or an extra crater day
- Zanzibar visitor/accommodation levies not named in the quote
GOOD TO KNOW
Practical details
USD 3,400 is an off-peak estimate for two adults sharing. Arrive in Arusha before day 1; the pre-safari night is extra. The core six-day route visits Tarangire and the Serengeti, not a crater descent. Ngorongoro Crater or seasonal Ndutu can be added with a separately timed and priced route. The quote names the airline, luggage allowance, accommodation, visitor levies and actual services.
