What a clear Tanzania tour quote should include
When you receive a Tanzania tour quote, look at the full route and the services behind the total: rooms, transport, activities, meals and fees. This guide explains what to check, especially when a trip includes mountain crews, safari camps, domestic flights or Zanzibar excursions.
Use the price for your actual group
David Explora’s displayed estimates state their adult-group basis. A price based on four adults cannot simply be multiplied by two and treated as a confirmed private booking. Transport and other shared costs need recalculating.
Tell David your adult and child numbers, preferred room arrangement and dates. A personal quote should show the complete payable total and currency, rather than leaving you to reconstruct it from several card prices.
Name the services, not just the comfort level
Terms such as ‘luxury’ or ‘all inclusive’ are not a substitute for these details. A quote should make the service level readable before you pay.
- Accommodation names, nights, room basis and meal plan.
- Guide, crew and vehicle arrangements, with pickup and transfer points.
- Activities and their applicable park, permit or entry charges.
- Included flights, baggage conditions and the transfers around them.
- Equipment, meals and water provided, plus the extras you pay separately.
Explain changes and confirmation
Ask how the operator handles weather-dependent boats, unavailable accommodation, altered flight timings or a mountain turnaround. Check which decisions are made by the guide or provider and what the applicable cancellation terms say.
Confirm the contracting party, authorised payment recipient, deposit, balance deadline and confirmation process. Keep the quote, payment receipt and written confirmation together.
An enquiry is a starting conversation

Special journeys use a personal quote because the combination needs to be checked as a whole. Any future education-support contribution would be separately described and recorded; it is not silently included in your travel price.
